  • 300 gms - green choley
  • 1 cup - corn niblets
  • 2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup - browned onion paste
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - roasted jeera powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 3-4 tsp - oil
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • salt to taste

How to Make Green Choley with Corn

  • Heat oil and add the brown onion paste and ginger-garlic paste. Also, mix in the spices and 2 tbsp water and cook this mixture over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Mix in the choley and stir gently, also mix in the tomato puree at this time.
  • Cover with a lid and cook on low fire for 2 minutes more. 
  • Now mix in the corn niblets and continue to cook and stir for 1 minute more.
  • Put off the heat and serve as a side dish with roti or paratha.
  • Serve with puris for breakfast. 
  • This goes well with a portion of poha preparation or with plain idlis as starter or snack.
