  • ½ kg - sour, mature green mango
  • 400 to 500 g - sugar(depending on the sourness of mango)
  • 2 tsp - black pepper corns, crushed
  • 1 tsp - cardamom powder

How to Make Green Mango Panakam

  • Peel the mango and cut into big pieces.
  • Add water to just cover the pieces. Cook till mango is soft.
  • Cool the cooked mango and blend in a mixer.
  • Add sugar, stir over low heat till sugar is dissolved.
  • Add cardamom and pepper.
  • Cool, transfer to a clean bottle and store in refrigerator.
  • To serve, take 1 part of the concentrate and add 3 parts of ice cold water.
