Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - green peas
  • 10 - shallots
  • 3 tbsp - coconut
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin seeds
  • Salt as needed
  • 2 - red chillies
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch

How to Make Green peas curry

  • Cook the peas with a little turmeric and salt. Drain the water and keep it aside.| |In a pan add oil and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Now add chopped shallots.
  • Grind the coconut, red chilly, cumin seeds, and garlic into a fine paste, adding very little water.
  • When the onions turn golden brown, add in the cooked green peas and the ground masala.
  • Mix it well and cook on low flame for 5 mins. Garnish with curry leaves.
