Ingredients

  • Green peas (fresh peeled) - 250 g
  • Carrot - 250 g
  • Coconut grated - 1 small size
  • Green chillies - 8 - 10
  • Curry leaves - 10 - 15 leaves
  • Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Thick Curd - 1 cup.
  • How to Make Green Peas Kurma with coconut:

    1. Cut carrots into 1/2 inch size.
    2. Wash green peas and carrots, cook them with water, curry leaves, turmeric powder and salt till tender.
    3. Grind coconut and green chillies to a paste.
    4. Beat the curd well.
    5. Add curd and ground masala to the cooked vegetables.
    6. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes.
    7. Heat coconut oil in a separate pan and pour it over the vegetables.
    8. Serve it hot with poori, chappati or rice.
