  • Wash and finely chop the greens (One variety of greens, I use 4 to 5 leaves of kale or collard greens or mustard greens)
  • 2 to 3 - Dried red chillies (if not 1/4th tsp of Red Chilli powder tastes good with whole red chillies)
  • 2 to 3 pods of Garlic
  • 2 tsp - Rice flour/Ragi flour
  • 1 glass of Milk
  • 1 - Finely chopped Onion
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Greens Dish:

    1. Mix flour into milk without lumps. In a pan heat one tsp of oil , add mustard seeds after they splutter add garlic pods (if the pods are big you can cut into 2 or 3)
    2. Then add pieces of red chillies and onion, once the onions are transparent, add chopped greens and salt. Once greens are done, add flour mixed milk and let it boil for around 3 or 4 minutes. (if you think the gravy is too thick, you can add some water or milk). Serve with Rice and Papad.
