Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken mince
  • 2 cups - fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup - low-fat Milk
  • 3 tsp - red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp - garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin, grounded
  • 2 tbsp - mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 tsp - black pepper, ground or cracked
  • 1 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp - Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp - freshly chopped Tarragon leaves
  • 4 - burger buns, split and toasted
  • 4 slices - Swiss cheese
  • 8 leaves- Lettuce
  • 1 ripe tomato, thinly sliced
  • How to Make Grilled Chicken Burger:

    1. Put chicken in a mixing bowl, add milk and bread crumbs.
    2. Add onions, cayenne, garlic, cumin, cheese, salt and pepper. Mix all the ingredients with a spatula.
    3. Divide chicken meat into 4 or 5 piles and using your hands, shape into patties.
    4. Preheat the grill.
    5. Brush both sides of the pattie with the olive oil.
    6. Grill patties until cooked through.
    7. Combine mayonnaise, mustard and tarragon to form sauce.
    8. Slather the bun top and bottom with the sauce.
    9. Stack lettuce, sliced tomato, onion and cucumber on the bottom bun.
    10. Top with chicken pattie and a slice of cheese.
    11. Put bun tops in place.
    12. Serve immediately.
