  • 1 - Pineapple, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 2 cups - Onion rings
  • 1 cup - Crisp fried spinach

How to Make Grilled Pineapple and Onion Rings Chaat

  • Grill the pineapple pieces on a grill or on a non stick pan smearing a little oil on the pineapple pieces.
  • Once grilled and browned keep aside.
  • Place the pineapple into individual bowls, garnish with onion rings and lace with crispy fried spinach leaves.
  • To prepare the crispy fried spinach leaves:
  • Take 1 cup of chopped spinach and sprinkle with 1 tsp. of cornflour.
  • Heat oil for deep frying and fry at high temperature for only a few seconds till the spinach is crispy and take it off the oil as soon as you add it to the oil.
  • Drain out all excess oil. An air fryer is the best way to obtain crispy fried spinach.
  • Keep the chopped spinach in an air fryer for 10 mins or a little less till crispy.
