Ingredients

  • 3 - large Pomfrets
  • 2 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - Lime juice
  • 2 tsp - curds/yogurt
  • 1 tsp - tandoori masala powder (available in the shops)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Grilled Whole Fish With Tandoori Masala:

    1. Trim, clean and remove the insides of the fish. Discard the tails, then wash well.
    2. Mix the all the ingredients together
    3. Slit the fish sideways and make a few gashes on top with a knife.
    4. Apply the paste all over the fish and inside as well. Let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
    5. Place the fish in a buttered baking dish. Drizzle oil all over.
    6. Bake in a moderate oven(350 degrees F) for 25 - 30 minutes.
    7. Serve with onions rings and lemon wedges.
