  • 5 slices - bread
  • 1 cup - sugar
  • 5 tbsp - ghee
  • 2 cups - milk
  • Water for syrup

How to Make Gulab Jamun from Bread

  • Trim the bread slices and dip in milk. Squeeze out most of the milk and make balls.
  • Make sure they are not too wet and fry in 5 tbsp ghee.
  • Do not make them too dark in colour.
  • Prepare a sugar syrup and soak the roasted balls.
  • Gulab jamun is ready.
