Ingredients

  • 2 cup - Fresh Curd ( not the sour one)
  • 1/2 cup - Fine Sugar
  • ¼ cup - Gulkand ( sweetened rose petals preserve )
  • 1 tbsp - Rose Sharbat/ flavored Drink - For Garnishing (optional)
  • 2 tbsp - Pistachios, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp - Rose Essence
  • A pinch of Nutmeg

How to Make Gulkand Sreekhand

  • Pour in curd into a muslin/cotton cloth and hang it tied for 5-6 hours or overnight.
  • When you open the cloth, the curd should be very thick.
  • Mix all the above ingredients into it gently.
  • Be careful, not to stir it too much.
  • Keep it in a refrigerator for at least 4-5 hours and serve it chilled.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts and rose syrup before serving.
