Ingredients

  • 25 - Seedless, brown, whole Dates
  • 3 - Sweet gulkand pan beedas from paanwala
  • 100 g - Khova
  • Silver foil (optional).

How to Make Gulpaan Dates

  • Mash the paans, without the supari, in a mixer.
  • Now, spread the lightly crushed paans in a plate and let them dry.
  • Crush khova with hands, in a pan.
  • Then cook it on a slow fire, stirring continuously.
  • When it reaches a soft lump like consistency, take it off from the fire.
  • Now mix in the mashed and dried paan and blend it well.
  • Now make a vertical slit in each date.
  • Stuff the mixture into the dates.
  • Now over with the silver foil.
  • Cool in the refrigerator.
  • Serve as an after dinner mouth cleanser and digestive aid.
