Ingredients

  • 1 packet - hakka noodles (approx 400-500 g)
  • 1 - carrot, julienned
  • 1 - capsicum, julienned
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 - spring onions, chopped whites and greens separated
  • 1 cup - chopped Cabbage
  • 1 cup - soya chunks
  • 1 - 2 tbsp - soy sauce
  • 1 tsp - hoisin sauce (optional)
  • chilli sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • How to Make Hakka Noodles:

    1. Boil water and cook the noodles for few min till they soften.
    2. Add the soy chunks and cook till it softens.
    3. In a saute pan, add some peanut oil and saute onions and spring onion whites.
    4. Add the capsicum, carrots and cabbages and saute till it lightly softens.
    5. Add the salt, pepper, sauces - give it a toss and then add the noodles and soya chunks and saute in high heat for about 5-7min.
    6. Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
