Ingredients

  • 100 g- Fresh, tender Turmeric tubers
  • 1 liter - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1 tsp- Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp- Cardamom powder.
  • How to Make Haldi Ka Paak:

    1. Peel and wash the turmeric. Now grate it finely and keep aside.
    2. In the meanwhile boil in a large heavy vessel.
    3. Simmer for 10 minutes and add the turmeric.
    4. Stir gently, until it starts Boiled again.
    5. Keep stirring so that the milk does not scald.
    6. Add sugar, cook until it is a soft, yellow lump.
    7. Now add cardamom, ghee, and mix well.
    8. Transfer to a container, and cool before storing.
    9. Eat half a teaspoonful, every morning along with milk.
