  • 100g - moong dal
  • 100g - Sugar
  • 40g - desi Ghee
  • 1 litre - water

How to Make Half Moons

  • Soak moong dal for 2 hours.
  • Grind to a paste. Pour it into an idly plate and steam for 15 minutes.
  • Make sugar syrup with the sugar and water, mash the steamed moong in it.
  • Boil for another 1/2 hour and pour on to a plate to cool and set.
  • Cut into squares and fry them.
