Ingredients

  • 1 pound - lean ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp - black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - dried thyme, crumbled
  • 1/4 tbsp - dried rosemary, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp - butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp - vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp - spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1.5 tsp - Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp - chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp - salt

How to Make Hamburgers Diane

  • Mix the first five ingredients and shape it into 4 inch patties of about 1 inch thickness.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of the butter with the oil and mustard for about 1 minute.
  • Add the patties and cook for six minutes.
  • Remove the patties to a warm platter.
  • Heat the mix of lemon juice and worcestershire sauce and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the parsley and the remaining butter.
  • Pour sauce over patties and serve.
