Ingredients

  • 1 medium - Raw papaya, peeled, seeded
  • 5 - Small Spring onions with greens
  • 5-6 - Tender French beans chopped 1 inch long pieces
  • 1/2 cup- Raw Peanuts coarsely pound or crushed
  • 2 flakes - Garlic, peeled, crushed
  • 1 stalk - Lemon grass, finely chopped
  • 2 - Fresh red chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 - Tomato, deseeded, thinly slivered
  • 1 tbsp- Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp- Sugar
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Hara Papita ka salad:

    1. Slice the papaya into inch long thin wafers, or grate coarsely.
    2. Parboil the beans until slightly tender, but not overcooked.
    3. Now chop the spring onion greens finely, and scallions to thin slivers
    4. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Toss with a wooden spatula, and blend well.
    5. Now cover and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
    6. Garnish with chilli or onion slices.
    7. Serve as a crisp, fresh salad,
