Ingredients

  • 250 g - Extra firm tofu (cubed or cut into any shape)
  • 1 cup - Coriander stalks (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup - Mint stalks (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 3 - Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp - Ginger (pieces)
  • 3 tbsp - Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Chaat masala
  • Salt
  • Oil

How to Make Hara Tofu Bites

  • Grind the coriander stalks, mint stalks with cumin seeds, green chillies, garlic cloves, ginger, chaat masala, lemon juice and yogurt into a fine paste.
  • Add this paste to the tofu, mix gently until the tofu is well coated.
  • Keep the marinated tofu aside, for either 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
  • Heat enough oil for shallow frying, drop the tofu gently, fry on both sides until they turn golden brown.
  • Insert a toothpick and serve either with hot chilli sauce or ketchup.
