  • Bhavnagre chilli - 500 gms
  • Phitkari powder - 150 gms
  • Kova - 300 gms
  • Dry coconut powder - 200 gms
  • Ghee - 200 ml
  • Nuts - 100 gms
  • Sugar - 300 gms
  • Milk maid - 1 tin
  • Green elachi - 20 gms

How to Make Hari Mirch ka Hara Halwa

  • Split chilli and remove seeds; chop well.
  • Soak the choped chilli in phitkari added water for 30 mins.
  • Wash and drain. Boil in phitkari water for another 20 mins.
  • Drain and keep the chillies aside.
  • Heat ghee. Sautee the cooked chillies. Add coconut powder and kova. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar and elaichi and allow to mix well. Add milkmaid and stir well to prevent the mixture sticking to the pan.
  • Cook till the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan. Garnish with nuts and serve.
