Ingredients

  • Bhavnagre chilli - 500 gms
  • Phitkari powder - 150 gms
  • Kova - 300 gms
  • Dry Coconut powder - 200 gms
  • Ghee - 200 ml
  • Nuts - 100 gms
  • Sugar - 300 gms
  • Milk maid - 1 tin
  • Green elachi - 20 gms
  • How to Make Hari Mirch ka Hara Halwa:

    1. Split chilli and remove seeds; chop well.
    2. Soak the choped chilli in phitkari added water for 30 mins.
    3. Wash and drain. Boil in phitkari water for another 20 mins.
    4. Drain and keep the chillies aside.
    5. Heat ghee. Sautee the cooked chillies. Add coconut powder and kova. Cook for 5 minutes.
    6. Add sugar and elaichi and allow to mix well. Add milkmaid and stir well to prevent the mixture sticking to the pan.
    7. Cook till the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan. Garnish with nuts and serve.
