  • Puff Pastry Sheet – 2
  • Hazelnut Spread – 3 – 4 tbsp
  • Chopped Hazelnuts – 50 grams
  • Orange Marmalade – 5 tbsp
  • Golden Raisins – 50 grams
  • Butter – for greasing
  • Brown sugar – as required
  • How to Make Hazelnut & Orange Marmalade Palmier:

    1. Dust the table top with flour.
    2. Roll out 1 puff sheet, apply the hazelnut spread evenly all across it.
    3. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
    4. Roll from both ends to the center of the sheet. Apply little water at the edges to help it stick.
    5. Take this sheet back to the chiller and rest for about 15 minutes. This helps the temperature to drop and solidify the butter (especially in hot and humid conditions).
    6. Slice into 1 inch pieces.
    7. Repeat the process with orange marmalade and golden raisins.
    8. Spread it on a baking tray with enough spaces between each slice to rise and expand.
    9. Bake it in a pre-heated oven of 4500F and bake for around 20 minutes.
    10. Palmiers are delightful French pastries that can be served as an accompaniment to tea or coffee.
