Ingredients

  • 125 g - vermicelli Pasta
  • 1/2 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic, chopped
  • 200 g - chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 boneless Chicken breasts fillets, cooked and cubed
  • 1 small bunch - fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 dried crushed Red Chillies (optional)
  • 2 tbsp - freshly grated parmesan
  • How to Make Healthy Basil Chicken with Vermicelli:

    1. Cook pasta according to instructions.
    2. Drain, and set aside.
    3. Heat oil in a large frying pan, over medium-high heat.
    4. Saute onions and garlic.
    5. Stir in the tomatoes, chicken, basil, salt and chillies.
    6. Reduce heat and cook covered.
    7. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    8. Toss sauce with pasta to coat and heat through.
    9. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
