Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp - Mixed seeds (flax seeds, sesame seeds, Pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 tbsp - Almond flakes
  • 10 - Cashew nuts (broken into small pieces)
  • 1/4 cup - Mixed dry fruits (black and golden raisins, apricots, pineapples)
  • 3/4 cup - Honey
  • 2 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • A pinch Nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp - Butter

How to Make Healthy Breakfast Bar

  • Dry roast the rolled oats, mixed seeds, mixed dry fruits, almond flakes, cashew nuts until you get a nice aroma; transfer to a plate.
  • In the same pan, heat the butter, honey, sugar, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, vanilla essence and cook until it starts bubbling.
  • Add the roasted oats mixture immediately and simmer until the mixture can be taken of the pan easily.
  • Immediately, transfer to a baking sheet lined over a baking pan.
  • With a spatula press well to form a rectangle.
  • Let it cool completely and slice into bars or squares.
  • Serve with a cup of your favourite drink.
