Ingredients

  • Porridge mix powder:
  • 1 cup - Sprouted green gram
  • 1 cup - Quinoa
  • 2 cups - Sprouted horse gram
  • 1/4 cup - Sago
  • 1/2 cup - Barley
  • 1/2 cup - Brown Rice
  • 1 cup - Wheat
  • 1 cup - rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup - Flaxseeds
  • 1/2 cup - Whole Ragi
  • To make porridge:
  • 2 tbsp - Porridge mix
  • 1 cup - Water/milk
  • Honey/Sugar
  • How to Make Healthy Porridge Mix:

    1. Dry the sprouted green gram and sprouted horse gram under the sun or overnight, over a thick towel.
    2. Dry roast all the ingredients, one by one, until you get a nice aroma.
    3. Let cool and keep aside.
    4. Grind the roasted grains into a fine powder.
    5. Sieve the powder, grind again and store in an airtight bottle.
    6. To make the porridge:
    7. Bring the water/ milk to a boil, add the porridge mix.
    8. Mix well, ensure there are no lumps.
    9. Add the honey/ sugar and serve, for breakfast.
