Ingredients

  • 2 packets - ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 bottle of evaporated Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Saffron and nuts (optional)
  • Silver covering (optional)
  • How to Make Homemade Kalakand:

    1. Cook the ricotta cheese with some water.
    2. When the water is almost evaporated, add butter, sugar, milk, saffron and nuts.
    3. Keep cooking till the kalakand separates from the non-stick utensil.
    4. Butter a round pan.
    5. Put the kalakand mixture in it.
    6. Flatten it and let it cool to room temperature.
    7. When cool, cut into diamond pieces.
    8. Garnish with the silver wark.
