  • 1 - Egg
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup - vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup - Olive oil
  • Juice of - one Lemon
  • How to Make Homemade Mayonnaise:

    1. Combine egg and salt with a large whisk, mixing until foamy and pale.
    2. Whisking constantly, add the oil, a few drops at a time, and then in a steady stream as the mixture emulsifies.
    3. Add lemon juice blend briefly.
    4. Add salt and lemon juice to taste.
    5. Store.
