How to Make Homemade Sambar Powder

  • Dry roast the coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds and red chillies on simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add the asafoetida powder before putting off the stove and give it a stir.
  • Keep aside and let it cool.
  • Grind the roasted spices in a blender and store in an air tight box.
  • Use in a month or more if kept in the fridge.
