  • 1/4 cup - Coriander seeds
  • 2 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
  • 5 - Dry Red Chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Asafetida powder
  • How to Make Homemade Sambar Powder:

    1. Dry roast the coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds and red chillies on simmer for a few minutes.
    2. Add the asafoetida powder before putting off the stove and give it a stir.
    3. Keep aside and let it cool.
    4. Grind the roasted spices in a blender and store in an air tight box.
    5. Use in a month or more if kept in the fridge.
