Ingredients

  • 1 tsp - white Sugar
  • 1.5 cup - warm water
  • 1 tbsp - Dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 2 cups - whole Wheat flour
  • 1.5 cup - all-purpose flour
  • For topping :
  • Vegetables
  • 1 /2 cup - yellow, green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup - button mushroom, diced
  • 1/2 cup - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - onion, sliced
  • 1 - green chilli, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - sweet Corn kernels
  • 2 tbsp - pizza sauce
  • 1 tbsp - Butter spread
  • 2 tbsp - mozzarella cheese/ cheddar
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp - oregano, dried
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper, crushed
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Homemade Wheat Crust Pizza

  • In a large bowl, add sugar in warm water and sprinkle yeast and let it stand for about 10 minutes, until foamy.
  • Stir the olive oil and salt into the yeast mixture.
  • Then mix this with whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour and knead to a smooth dough.
  • Place dough in a bowl and cover loosely with a towel, and let it stand in a warm place until doubled in size.
  • When the dough is doubled, make two balls from it.
  • (Make one ball if you want thick crust).
  • Preheat the oven to 220 degree.
  • Roll a ball of dough with a rolling pin until it will not stretch any further or to the shape and size of your choice.
  • Prick it with fork with proper spacing.
  • Top pizza with a layer of butter spread, pizza sauce, cheese and arrange vegetables over it.
  • Spread grated cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until the crust is crisp and golden at the edges, and cheese is melted on the top.
