Ingredients

  • 4 cups - whole milk
  • 1 tbsp - starter yogurt

How to Make Homemade Yogurt

  • Bring milk to a boil.
  • Allow it to cool to slightly warmer than lukewarm.
  • Add starter yogurt and blend together with a hand blender or whisk.
  • Transfer to a container with a tight fitting lid.
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees F and switch the oven off.
  • Place container with milk in the warm oven and set timer for 3.5 hours.
  • After 3.5 hours, remove yogurt from the oven and store in refrigerator.
