  • 1 cup - rolled oats
  • 1 cup - sultanas
  • 1/2 cup - whole meal self raising flour
  • 1/2 cup - raw sugar
  • 1/2 cup - coconut
  • 155 g - butter
  • 1 tbsp - honey

How to Make Honey Oat Bars

  • Combine oats, sultanas, sifted flour (return husks from sifter to basin), sugar and coconut in a basin.
  • Melt the butter, add honey, and mix all the dry ingredients until mixture clings together.
  • Press evenly over the base of a well greased 28 cm x 18 cm (11 in x 7 in) lamington tin.
  • Bake it in moderate oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Cut it into bars while hot, remove it from the tin once it becomes cold.
