Ingredients

  • 5 - cooking apples
  • 2 tbsp - Honey
  • 1/4 cup - water
  • 2 strips - Lemon rind
  • For topping:
  • 25 g - polyunsaturated margarine
  • 1/2 cup - cornflakes
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar

How to Make Honeyed Apple Crumble

  • Peel and slice apples.
  • In a saucepan, put sliced apples, honey, lemon rind and water.
  • Cover and allow it to simmer for 10 mins.
  • Spoon into a greased tin and carefully add the topping.
  • Mix cornflakes and sugar and gently work in margarine.
  • Bake at 180 degree C until it turns golden brown.
