  • 2 cups - Horse gram
  • 1/2 cup - Brown Rice
  • 1 cup - Channa dal
  • 1/2 cup - Toor Dal
  • 1 cup - Yellow split moong dal
  • 1/2 cup - Urad Dal
  • 4 - Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • Salt
  • How to Make Horse gram - Kollu Paruppu Adai:

    1. Soak the horse gram overnight and soak all dals and rice for at least 4 hours.
    2. Grind the soaked dals, rice, horse gram, dry red chillies, fennel seeds with enough water and salt into a coarse paste.
    3. Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladle of the batter, drizzle oil and cook on both sides, until the adai is well cooked.
    4. Serve with spicy coconut chutney.
