  • 1 cup - sprouted horse gram
  • 3/4 cup - sprouted Channa
  • 4 - Red Chillies or adjust to your taste
  • 1 tsp - Rice flour
  • 1 tsp - Corn flour
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp - coriander (finely chopped)
  • A few Curry leaves
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Horse gram chickpea vada:

    1. Coarsely grind horse gram, channa and red chillies along with salt. Sprinkle a little water while grinding.
    2. Combine rice flour, corn flour, fennel, garam masala, coriander and curry leaves to the ground mixture.
    3. Make small balls and gently flatten them.
    4. Heat oil and fry the vadas, a few at a time, till golden brown.
    5. Serve with coconut chutney or tomato sauce.
