  • 3 - potatoes.
  • 1 - onion.
  • 1 cup - fresh grated coconut.
  • 1 tsp - cumin.
  • 1 tsp - black pepper corns.
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder.
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder.
  • 4 big flakes - garlic.
  • 1 stalk - curry leaves.
  • 2 tbsp - ghee.
  • Salt to taste|
  • How to Make Hot and Spicy Potato Curry:

    1. Heat ghee in a pan, add garlic flakes and fry till slightly brown.
    2. Add cumin, peppercorns and coconut and fry for a few mins.
    3. Now add turmeric, coriander, chilli powder and fry for a few more seconds.
    4. Cool and grind to a fine paste adding enough water.
    5. Heat the rest of the ghee and saute the onions till it becomes transparent.
    6. Add the potatoes and the ground paste. Pour enough water to immerse the potatoes, add salt, curry leaves and mix well.
    7. Cover and cook till the potatoes are tender and gravy is medium thick.
    8. Serve hot.
