Ingredients

  • 8 - mango slices, cubed
  • 3 - onions, cut into large pieces
  • 3 tsp - coarse red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - mustard powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp - vinegar
  • 1 tsp - corn flour
  • 30 ml - tomato puree
  • 45 ml - honey
  • Roasted and powdered cinnamon powder
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Hot and Sweet Mango

  • Heat oil and saute the mango till done.
  • Remove from oil.
  • Add onion and stir-fry for two minutes and remove from oil.
  • Add the seasoning and fry for a few seconds.
  • Dissolve corn flour in a little water to get a smooth paste and add to the pan.
  • Stir till it turns glossy.
  • Add the mango, onion, tomato puree and honey and stir-fry for two minutes.
  • Serve hot.
