Ingredients

  • 10 slices bread
  • 10 cubes cheese
  • 12 tbsp - flour
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1 tsp - pepper
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Hot Cheese Squares

  • Cut each slice of bread into halves.
  • Grate the cheese and mix in the salt and pepper.
  • Make a sufficiently thick paste with the flour and water (it should be such that it coats the bread well).
  • Now take a piece of bread, pat with water and spread sufficient grated cheese on it.
  • Press lightly with fingers and dip into the flour paste to deep fry in hot oil till light golden.
  • Repeat the same with the other pieces of bread.
  • Serve hot with chilli sauce or tomato sauce.
