Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Rice
  • 1 tbsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 - dry Red Chillies
  • 1 cup - spring onion, thinly sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup - carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - garlic-chilli sauce
  • 3 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup - capsicum, finely chopped
  • Medium sized pieces of fried Walnuts to garnish
  • How to Make Hot Garlic Fried Rice:

    1. Wash rice.
    2. Soak for 10 minutes.
    3. Boil water.
    4. Add rice and salt.
    5. Cook till almost done, and drain.
    6. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel.
    7. Add garlic paste, chopped garlic and red chillies.
    8. Fry well.
    9. Add spring onions, carrots, capsicum and salt.
    10. Stir well.
    11. Add rice, soya sauce and garlic chilli sauce.
    12. Stir and cook on slow heat till done.
    13. Serve hot.
