Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Rice
  • 1 tbsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 - dry Red Chillies
  • 1 cup - spring onion, thinly sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup - carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - garlic-chilli sauce
  • 3 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup - capsicum, finely chopped
  • Medium sized pieces of fried Walnuts to garnish

How to Make Hot Garlic Fried Rice

  • Wash rice.
  • Soak for 10 minutes.
  • Boil water.
  • Add rice and salt.
  • Cook till almost done, and drain.
  • Heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel.
  • Add garlic paste, chopped garlic and red chillies.
  • Fry well.
  • Add spring onions, carrots, capsicum and salt.
  • Stir well.
  • Add rice, soya sauce and garlic chilli sauce.
  • Stir and cook on slow heat till done.
  • Serve hot.
