Ingredients

  • Mushrooms washed & halved - 200 gm
  • Boiled potato cubed - 200 gm
  • Peas boiled - 50 gm
  • Onions chopped - 50 gm
  • Tomato chopped - 100 gm
  • Green chillies chopped - 2 to 3
  • Garlic pods chopped - 3 to 4
  • Kasmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Dhania powder - 2 tsp
  • Jeera whole - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Coriander chopped for garnish
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Hot Mushroom Potato Casserole

  • Heat oil in a non stick pan.
  • Add the jeera.
  • Roast till golden but not dark brown.
  • Add the garlic, green chillies and the onions.
  • Cook on medium heat till golden.
  • Add the tomatoes and the salt.
  • Cook till tomatoes are tender.
  • Bring the gas to a simmer.
  • Add mushrooms, potatoes and peas to this masala.
  • Add all the spices.
  • Cook on medium heat till the mushrooms are slightly tender.
  • Remove to a serving dish and garnish with chopped coriander.
  • Serve with bread or rice.
