How to Make Hot Palak Paneer

  • Wash the spinach and pressure cook with 1/4 cup of water.
  • Take off after 2 whistles, cool and blend in a blender.
  • Now make a paste of 1 onion, the garlic-ginger, green chillies and fry in a wok until brown.
  • To this, add 1 chopped onion and the tomato sauce and fry till the oil leaves the sides of the wok.
  • Now add the chilli powder, the coriander powder, turmeric powder and fry for 2 mins.
  • Then add the garam masala, salt and the pureed spinach to this.
  • Let it simmer for about 20 mins until it thickens.
  • Add the cubed paneer pieces and garnish with the ghee.
  • Serve hot with chapattis.
