Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Mutton or lamb chops
  • 2 large onions, sliced finely
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 potatoes, boiled and peeled and sliced thickly
  • 3 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 slit Green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Hot Pot Mutton Chops:

    1. Wash the chops well and marinate with the salt, pepper powder, garlic paste and turmeric powder.
    2. Cook the chops with a little water till tender.
    3. Add the onions, green chillies and oil and cook till the water dries up.
    4. Keep frying till the chops turn a nice brown colour.
    5. Add the potatoes and mix lightly so that the potatoes are covered with the gravy.
