Ingredients

  • large Prawns - ½ kg, peeled and cleaned
  • Garlic 8 flakes, crushed
  • oil - 3 tbsp
  • For Masala:
  • Tamarind - 2 cm ball
  • Turmeric - ½ tsp
  • cumin - 5 gm
  • mustard - 5 gm
  • roasted Peanuts - 25 gm
  • green chilies 4
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Hot Prawn Curry:

    1. Grind all the ingredients for masala together.
    2. Heat oil; fry garlic till dark brown.
    3. Add masala, fry till fragrant.
    4. Add prawns, fry till they curl.
    5. Add 2 cups of water and salt, cook till done.
    6. This curry consistency is like thin pouring cream.
