Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Mutton with bones
  • 3 bunches - palak, chopped
  • 1 bunch - mint, chopped
  • 5 Green chillies
  • 2 sliced - Onions
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger and Garlic paste, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 cut in 4 parts - Potato
  • 1 bunch - coriander, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - fennel powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt
  • How to Make Hot, spicy palak mutton curry:

    1. Wash palak and keep it aside.
    2. Then take a cooker, heat oil in it add onions, pudina, green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
    3. Add ginger garlic paste, fry for a minute.
    4. Then add mutton and fry for 5 minutes.
    5. Add all masalas, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel powder and salt according to taste, mix well let all the flavours combine well for 5 minutes.
    6. Add 1 glass of water and cook till mutton is cooked well in a pressure cooker.
    7. Once mutton is cooked, add palak and potatoes and mix.
    8. Cook up to 1 whistle in a pressure cooker.
    9. Open the lid, add chopped coriander and serve with plain rice or hot chapatti.
