Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - mutton with bones
  • 3 bunches - palak, chopped
  • 1 bunch - mint, chopped
  • 5 green chillies
  • 2 sliced - onions
  • 1 tbsp - ginger and garlic paste, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 cut in 4 parts - potato
  • 1 bunch - coriander, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - fennel powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt

How to Make Hot, spicy palak mutton curry

  • Wash palak and keep it aside.
  • Then take a cooker, heat oil in it add onions, pudina, green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, fry for a minute.
  • Then add mutton and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add all masalas, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel powder and salt according to taste, mix well let all the flavours combine well for 5 minutes.
  • Add 1 glass of water and cook till mutton is cooked well in a pressure cooker.
  • Once mutton is cooked, add palak and potatoes and mix.
  • Cook up to 1 whistle in a pressure cooker.
  • Open the lid, add chopped coriander and serve with plain rice or hot chapatti.
