How to Make Hot Yakhni pulao

  • Boil meat with whole spices and salt in 1.5 litres of water.
  • Pressure cook if necessary.
  • Remove meat and reserve.
  • Heat two tbsps ghee.
  • Add rice and meat.
  • Add cumin seeds, chilli powder and salt if needed.
  • Add the meat stock and water to make the level 2 cm. above the level of rice.
  • Fix lid tightly and cook slowly till rice is done and fluffy.
