  • 4 to 6 - medium potatoes
  • 3 to 4 - medium onions
  • 2 - medium tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp - garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp - refined oil

How to Make Humble Potato

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them lengthwise - like finger chips.
  • Slice the onions into medium-sized pieces - about four to six pieces per onion.
  • Slice the tomatoes similarly.
  • Heat oil in a microwave safe dish for 2 mins.
  • Mix the cut vegetables in this warm oil. Add garam masala and salt to taste.
  • Add about 1/2 cup water and mix well. Microwave for 15 to 20 mins or till tender.
  • Serve with chapattis or paranthas.
