Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps - Ghee or oil
  • 1 inch - Cinnamon stick
  • 1 - Mace flower
  • 1 - black Cardamom
  • 5-6 Cloves
  • 2 - Bay Leaves
  • 2 - medium onions, sliced
  • 3 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1.5 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tsps - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 500 g - minced Meat
  • 1.5 cups - water
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 1.5 tsps - salt
  • How to Make Hyderabadi Keema:

    1. Mix the oil and the whole spices in a dish and microwave at 850 W for 3 mins.
    2. Add sliced onions to the spices and cook in the crisp mode for 10 mins, till the onions turn dark golden to deep brown.
    3. Mix onions well, along with the garlic and ginger paste and keep in microwave at 850 W for 1 minute.
    4. Stir the spices into the dish, mix well and microwave at 750 W for 2 mins.
    5. Add the mince along with the water, chillies and salt and microwave at 750 W for 10 mins.
    6. Stir the mince at least twice during the 10 mins to ensure that no lumps are formed.
