Ingredients

  • 250 g - mini idlis
  • Oil for cooking
  • 2 tbsp - sweet chutney
  • 2 tbsp - green chutney
  • 50 g - nylon sev
  • 2 tbsp - sweet Curd
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - chaat powder
  • 1 cup - mixture of cut onion, coriander leaves, Green chillies
  • How to Make Idli chaat:

    1. For the sweet chutney:
    2. Boil 1 tbsp of tamarind pulp and 2 tbsps of jaggery.
    3. Strain, add cumin powder, salt and red chilli powder.
    4. Mix well.
    5. For the green chutney:
    6. Blend 250 g of coriander leaves, 1 green chilli, 1 tsp lemon juice, and salt together in the mixer.
    7. Keep aside.
    8. Fry the mini idlis, drain and add into a bowl.
    9. Spread the curd over it, then spread the sweet chutney and the green chutney.
    10. Top with the onion-coriander mixture.
    11. Spread the sev over it and sprinkle with salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder and chaat masala.
