Ingredients

  • 1 cup - urad dal, soaked and ground into a paste
  • 3 cups - Long grain Rice, soaked and ground into a paste (add three handfuls of cooked Rice while grinding the Rice.)

How to Make Idlis

  • Mix the urad daal and rice batter.
  • Add salt and set it aside for a few hours.
  • Pour into idli moulds and steam.
