Ingredients

  • Idli - 6
  • Onion- 2
  • Tomato-1
  • Tomato puree - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Garam Masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • How to Make Idly kaima:

    1. Cut idlies into small cubes.
    2. Take small amount of oil in a pan.
    3. Fry idlies and remove from pan.
    4. Take oil in the pan and saute finely chopped onions and add ginger garlic paste.
    5. When onion is sauteed, add finely chopped tomatoes and saute.
    6. Add tomato puree and continue sauteing till it is done.
    7. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt.
    8. When the gravy is ready, add fried idlies to it and mix thoroughly.
    9. Add coriander leaves to it and keep it closed for 2 minutes.
    10. Idly kaima is ready to serve.
