Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 450 gms - minced Meat
  • 2 tsp - crushed Garlic
  • 2 tsp - grated Ginger
  • 400 gms - peeled, chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp - Tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp - ground coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 whole chillies
  • 1 Capsicum pepper, chopped
  • 400 gms - kidney beans
  • 250 ml water
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Indian chilli:

    1. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion until very light brown.
    2. Add the minced meat, garlic and ginger and fry until the minced meat turns brown.
    3. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring them to a boil.
    4. Cover and allow it to simmer for 50 minutes.
    5. Serve with rice and plain yoghurt.
