How to Make Indian Drumstick Curry

  • Boil the drumsticks in water with a little salt and haldi until just tender and keep aside.
  • Dry-fry jeera and dhania and make a course paste along with garlic cloves.
  • Heat oil. Add curry leaves, onion and chilli pieces and fry until the onion becomes soft.
  • Add jeera-garlic paste and chilli powder. Fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add the boiled drumsticks along with water.
  • Add groundnut powder and mix well. Cook for a minuted so that the masala completely coats the drumsticks.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with plain rice/chapathi/poori.
