  • 5 - long fresh Drumsticks
  • 1/4 tsp - black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • 6 cups - water

How to Make Indian Drumstick Soup

  • Scrape the drumsticks lightly with a peeler.
  • Cut into small finger-length pieces and boil. Keep aside to cool.
  • Use the boiled drumstick water as the base for the soup.
  • Scrape the flesh from the drumsticks with a blunt knife or the back of a spoon.
  • Add the drumstick flesh into the stock and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add black pepper powder and salt to taste.
