Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - Milk
  • 3/4 cup - water
  • 2-1/4 tsp - Sugar
  • 1.5 tsp - CTC tea
  • 1/4 tsp - chai masala powder
  • 1 Cardamom smashed

How to Make Indian Masala Chai

  • Heat water.
  • Add tea leaves, simmer for 2-3 minutes till water is dark brown.
  • Add cardamom, chai masala, sugar, and boil for 1 more minute.
  • Add milk, bring to a boil again. Simmer till colour is as per your taste.
  • Remove from fire, keep it covered for 1 minute. Strain with a tea strainer.
  • Pour into teacups, serve piping hot with biscuits.
